BIO-MEDICAL RESOURCES
It has been my theory for many years that the effectiveness of any behavioral/educational treatment (such as ABA, CLM, Pivotal Response Training (child driven ABA), Floortime or what ever model you personally choose to use) hinges on the ability for the brain and body to function at peak levels. That being said we have been doing supplements with JR solidly for the past five years. The effects have been amazing to say the least. Not only does he learn quicker than he ever has, it's very obvious when we run out of certain supplements. Even the staff at Vista has noted changes in his demeanor. He doesn't grasp instructions or concepts as well either. In addition to resources below I am attaching my son's supplement list. To begin the bio-medical approach means to me; a natural approach to healing the ailing body. Whether that means herbals, homeopathy, supplements such as antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and the like. It can also be oxygen therapy and chelation me. We have opted for the bio-medical approach primarily because I have lost ALL faith in the medical establishment ( with some exception) in general and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. In my opinion both of these entities have let this happen to my son as well as a generation of children. The first by ignorance and relying on drug reps (who are the equivalent of car salespeople and whose income is directly reflected of how many drugs they can push) for research (as unbiased as it is) and the second as a deliberate act of which I would classify as CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.
